The City of Mirrors

I received a free Kindle copy of this book courtesy of Net Galley and Random House, the publisher. It is with the understanding that I will post a review on Net Galley, Amazon and my book review blog. I also posted the review on my Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Plus pages.

I requested this book as I have read the first two of the trilogy by Justin Cronin.

This book is engaging and hard to put down. It is comparable to the first book in the series, The Passage, and better than the second, the twelve. The author does an excellent job of filling in the background on the one key player (Zero) that was not covered in the first two novels. He also ties up all of the loose ends and lays the groundwork for continuing the series if he so chooses.

I strongly recommend this book, but only if you have read the first two in the series. You will not be disappointed.
