Crimson Shore

This is the latest in Preston and Child’s Agent Pendergast series. I chose this book because I have read all of them.

While well done, I would not put this one at the same level as some of their other books in the series. It is entertaining and engaging, but not to the level where one could not put the book down and where you cannot figure out the potential endings. As with other books in the series it is very helpful to the reader to have read the prior novels to have a better understanding of the plot and it does set itself up for the next one in the series.  This is definitely not a stand alone novel.

I do recommend this book to anyone who has read the prior ones in the series and is a fan of Preston and Child.
