The Obsidian Chamber

I chose to read this book because I have read all of the others in the Agent Pendergast series.

This book was a big disappointment. In prior novels the authors at least showed some creativity. This one reads like they were obligated to put out another one and chose to rehash old story lines rather than create new ones. I won’t give away the plot, but if you read Crimson Shore you can quickly guess it in the first few pages. I have categorized it as a mystery and a thriller, but it is neither in reality.

If you must read it, get it from the library. It’s not really worth paying for it.
