The Promised One

I received a free Kindle copy of The Promised One by Meredith and Win Blevins courtesy of Net Galley and Open Road Integrated  Media, the publisher. It was with the understanding that I would post a review on Net Galley, Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and my book review blog. I also posted it to my Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Plus pages.

I requested this book as I am looking for books about Native Americans that are along the lines of Tony Hillerman. This is the first book by Meredith and Win Blevins that I have read.

I requested this book because the author’s had received numerous positive reviews on the earlier release of this book and others that they have written. For me it was a major disappointment. Their writing sytle does not resonate with me. It is not engaging and it did not hold my interest.  I will continue my search for engaging native american fiction.
